A-Different-Percentile

When you are born into an array of various, but unfavorable demographic and percentile groups, life can seem dismal. This is not an instructional manual for others, nor is it a tell all... A Different Percentile, is an opportunity to share, how I made/make it through the storms of life.

This is an opportunity to reach out to others, who may be going through the same or similar situations, that have also designated their fate to be among these unfavorable percentile groups.

When dealing with the conditions; that occur as a result of the obstacles, on the journey to recover from the land of the forgotten and discarded... resources can appear to be invisible.

The goal of this page is to allow, those who are looking for help, an opportunity to find the help that may save their life!

There is no way that I can begin to speak of my life being saved; without acknowledging

The O.A.S.I.S Program ! The staff members that played such a crucial role in the Re-making of me; I thank you from the very bottom of my heart and soul. I know that it wasn't an easy task, however, I live my life today as an example of the lessons and compassion that you continued to pour out of yourself and into me every single day... and until this very day, when I can and need to be refilled.

This page, the book, and every time that I go and speak to someone else; who is either contemplating the genesis of their journey, in the midst of a storm in their journey, or questioning the purpose of the journey itself... I draw upon the strength that was instilled in me via all of you!

And my O.A.S.I.S Brothers (past and present)... I stand on your shoulders and now offer my own for others to stand. This page is the pledge that I silently said, every single time that I spoke/speak the O.A.S.I.S Philosophy. Thank you for always supporting me while I was battling to gain control of my life. Thank you for being supportive of me during my storm(s), my calm, my night and my days! Thank you for being there while I was in prison, after I was released from prison and now that I fight each day, not to become a prison! Thank You for Saving My Life! #IAMOASIS!
